Forest Lake Local Doctors is seeking a reliable and adaptable Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our team in a part-time position. Saturday availability is required.
You will work with our GPs, Practice Manager and administrative team to provide quality patient care and support clinic operations. General practice experience is preferred, but nurses transitioning into primary care are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with minor procedures, wound care and dressings.
- Administer immunisations within your qualifications and scope of practice.
- Maintain vaccine cold-chain records.
- Conduct ECGs, spirometry, health assessments and clinical observations.
- Support chronic disease management, recalls and preventive health activities.
- Maintain infection control standards and accurate clinical documentation.
- Manage clinical supplies and support treatment room operations.
- Assist with other nursing and administrative tasks as required.
About you
You will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Relevant immunisation experience or qualifications.
- Strong communication, organisation and computer skills.
- A professional, patient-focused and collaborative approach.
- The ability to work independently within your scope of practice and seek guidance when needed.
- A willingness to assist with reception duties when required.
- Australian working rights.
- Availability to work Saturdays.
Experience using Best Practice software and previous general practice experience are highly desirable.
