The Opportunity
Located at either our Ringwood VIC or Milton QLD office, this role reports to the IT Service Desk Team Leader and is primarily responsible for providing quality Level 1-3 (depending on experience) high-quality technical support to employees across MEGT.
This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused IT professional looking to build on their Service Desk experience, broaden their technical skills and continue developing their career in a collaborative environment.
- Deliver exceptional IT support and customer service to employees across the organisation
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, device and access-related issues
- Provision, deploy and support laptops, mobile devices and business applications
- Manage incidents and service requests through our ticketing system
- Support technology upgrades, device rollouts and continuous improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain knowledge articles and support documentation
- Contribute to reporting, asset management and service delivery improvements
- Provide after-hours support when required
About you
You're someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, solving problems and delivering a great customer experience. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, and are eager to contribute developing your technical skills. You’ll bring:
- 1-3 years’ experience working on an IT Help Desk, Service Desk or MSP environment
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for supporting end users
- Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud platforms (M365, Exchange Online, Intune), Active Directory and Entra ID, RMM Tools (eg Endpoint Central or Datto RMM), iOS, basic networking, network printing, intrusion detection software, antivirus software, and remote client VPN environments
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote support tools and device management
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- A proactive, positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning and improvement
