The Network Planning and Delivery team is responsible for planning and improving bus, rail and ferry services across Queensland. We work closely with delivery partners (operators), internal business areas, and external stakeholders like Queensland Rail and councils to plan and deliver integrated transport solutions that connect people to work, education, healthcare and recreation. Through service planning, network improvements and strategic initiatives, the team helps deliver a public transport network that is reliable, accessible and responsive to the needs of Queenslanders.
THE ROLE
As the Principal Project Advisor, you will be responsible for the delivery of service change projects via the Passenger Transport Service Investment Program (PTSIP).
Your primary focus will be to deliver transport outcomes which proactively respond to current and emerging travel needs, resulting from the delivery of new infrastructure or operational investment. You will be required to coordinate with various business units across the division to successfully deliver project and program outcomes.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of complex multi-disciplinary service change projects as part of PTSIP.
- Lead project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with the program governance.
- Provide strategic advice and input into processes for service change projects, including standards and guidelines to facilitate consistent delivery of quality costeffective of your projects.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic input and advice to coordinate the planning, delivery and evaluation of the funding program.
ABOUT YOU
You will bring strong project management skills and the confidence to lead complex work in a busy, changing environment. You are organised, collaborative and outcomes focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities while keeping projects on track. You can work through complex problems, build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate clearly through briefs, submissions, presentations and advice.
You will also understand the importance of delivering customer-focused outcomes that provide real benefits for communities. Experience delivering projects of varying complexity is highly desirable, and formal project management certification such as PRINCE2, Agile or similar would be well regarded.
