We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager to join our dynamic team at based in Malaga Perth.
As a
Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex water management and renewable projects from initiation to closure, ensuring that they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
To be successful in this role:
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in the construction and engineering industry.
- Cert IV in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
- Project management qualification (PMP), Certified associate in project management (CAPM), Management (AIPM), PMBOK, Diploma, PMP or equivalent is desirable or a minimum of 8 years equivalent experience as a project manager.
- Proven performance on successful projects exceeding value of $5M+.
- Proven financial, risk, commercial, contractual and human resource management skills.
- Strong proven qualities of leadership, integrity, loyalty and performance management.
- Ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of HSE principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of estimating, contract management, program financial management, supply chain management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration.
- Success in achieving project tendered margins.
- Strong knowledge on contract law, OHS legislation and Employment law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure appropriate operational, functional and management control processes are in place to achieve project objectives.
- Lead and guide the project team to complete assigned projects in accordance with the contractual documentation, company standards and procedures, including supervising and scheduling project activities.
- Control project programming, cost control, quality control, procurement, contracts administration, supervision, general site administration and the activities of sub-contractors.
- Develop and review construction planning and monitor progress of allocated projects to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates.
- Ensure optimum cost, availability and quality of sub-contractors and suppliers compliant in HSE, environmental, quality and employee relations deliverables.
- Ensure all on-going resource needs are forecasted in a timely manner and linked to project delivery outcomes.
- Review weekly/ monthly status of program and manage, lead and drive team to ensure activities are completed on time and efficiently.
- Maintain personal accountability and hold a sound knowledge of procedures compliance and best practice.
