We are looking for a Full-time Sales Assistant to join our LEGO® Certified Store in Melbourne Central to create magic with the team!
Our LEGO® Certified Store in Melbourne Central is looking for a new energetic Full-Time Sales Assistant. The store features life-sized LEGO® models, a Pick-a-Brick wall, hard to find product releases and amazing bricks in hands engagement opportunities. Designed in partnership with the LEGO® Group, this store is an integral part of our LEGO® Certified Store network and the home of LEGO® in Melbourne Central.
Your Role:
As a Full-time Sales Assistant, you will be providing support to the store management team to help achieve KPI results, deliver an excellent, fun customer experience in store, and cultivate an inclusive & collaborative team culture. You will act as a key holder and will be involved with open/closing store operations. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take on extra responsibility than your average sales assistant.
Your Purpose:
- Provide operational support to the store management team by assisting with store opening and closing routines, register functions and back-office procedures.
- Work closely with the store management team to fulfill online orders and execute in-store activations.
- Support efficient inventory management including stock-takes & cycle counts.
- Support the implementation of visual merchandising standards and store activations.
- Help build a positive, collaborative team environment that promotes a safe & fun atmosphere.
- Share your knowledge and passion for LEGO® to help educate the team on our product range and help develop their sales skills.
To be successful for this role:
- Have 2-3 years of customer service experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
- Reflect professionalism but recognise the importance of a fun, encouraging, and welcoming team environment and have a genuine passion for LEGO®
- Be self-motivated, driven, results orientated and can demonstrate success in achieving KPI’s within a retail atmosphere
- Demonstrate an ability to develop, inspire, and coach a small team of retail professionals and can connect the team to the essence of the LEGO® brand
