About the work unit / facility:
The Women's & Children's Clinics offers local and outreach outpatient services for women, children, young people and their families and day admission for midwifery and gynaecology procedures. Services include midwifery care, obstetric care, gynaecology, gynaecology procedures, Gynae-Oncology, Uro-gynaecology and pre-assessment for surgical procedures as well as medical and surgical paediatrics including paediatric outreach from Brisbane.
WCC also have an Antenatal Day Assessment Clinic and an Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic.
The multidisciplinary team includes hospital and visiting medical staff, Registered nurses, Registered Midwives, Enrolled nurses, Student Midwives, casual and rotational Midwives, medical students, Social Workers, Allied Health staff, Aboriginal Health Workers, Clerical staff and Volunteers.
The position will provide clinical midwifery and nursing expertise in WCC to ensure the provision of best practice maternity, gynaecology and paediatric care and service to women, children and their families.

Permanent full-time position, located in Townsville
Salary range: $113,979 to $122,048 p.a. (NG6-1)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications (Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA).
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
Probation period may apply.
