MERITON BRISBANE on Adelaide street is hiring Room Attendants - Permanent position on Tax + Super
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, corridors, lifts, stairwells, and service areas
- Support housekeeping staff by delivering linen, towels, amenities, and other supplies to floors as required
- Assist in the removal of rubbish, dirty linen, and waste from guest floors and housekeeping carts
- Replenish housekeeping storage areas and ensure all equipment is clean and in good working condition
- Respond promptly to ad-hoc cleaning requests from housekeeping supervisors or management
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards at all times
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks when required, including carpet spotting, furniture cleaning, and window cleaning in common areas
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to management
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning (Preferred: prior experience as a Houseman or in a similar hotel housekeeping support role)
- Minimum 3 days of availability (Prefer 4-5 days availability)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Good attention to detail and time management skills
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, lift, and push cleaning equipment for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Flexible availability including weekends, early mornings, and public holidays
Salary:
- $28.46 to $56.93 per hour. Average 5-8 hours shift.
