Job Summary – Painter

Role: Professional Painter
Location: Brisbane, Queensland (with regional travel)
Employment Type: Permanent full-time
Hours: 38 hours per week
Main Responsibilities
- Paint interior and exterior commercial sites
- Prepare surfaces (fill holes, sand, strip paint, repair wood, remove wallpaper, seal surfaces)
- Inspect surfaces before painting
- Apply paints and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray guns
- Apply undercoats, enamel, varnish, stains, and acrylic paints
- Manage paint materials for projects
- Clean tools and work areas
- Ensure workplace health and safety standards at job sites
Requirements
- Qualified tradesperson painter
- Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience as a professional painter
- Good English communication
- Self-motivated and able to work on multiple projects
Preferred Qualities
- Experience handling several painting projects at the same time
- Commitment to learning and improving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
