About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Junior Steel Frame Detailer with experience using Vertex BD to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked with steel framing and wants to further develop their detailing career within a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed steel frame and truss drawings using Vertex BD.
- Review architectural and engineering plans.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings and production information.
- Liaise with estimators, production staff and project managers.
- Assist with design changes and revisions.
- Ensure drawings meet Australian Standards and company requirements.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience using Vertex BD.
- Basic understanding of light gauge steel framing.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural plans.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience in residential housing.
- Knowledge of NASH standards.
- Manufacturing or factory experience.
- Estimating experience (an advantage but not essential).

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
