Experienced Waiter/Waitress – Myras Taverna

Myras Taverna is a busy, authentic Greek restaurant in the heart of Newtown, known for warm hospitality, fresh food, and a vibrant dining experience.
We are looking for an experienced waiter/waitress to join our team.
About the Role:
We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on floor role where professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and looking after guests with friendly, professional service.
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders. Confidently carrying and serving up to three plates.
- Maintaining excellent product knowledge to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations. Working efficiently during busy service periods.
- Ensuring tables and service areas are clean and well presented.
- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
-Professional, positive attitude towards guests and teammates.
A current NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is required. Bar experience is not essential but will be highly regarded.
