As Manager your responsibilities will be to:
- Establish and oversee effective application lifecycle management.
- Effective management and assessment of business demand.
- Provide strategic advice, direction and proactive education to internal staff.
- Build, maintain and nurture internal business partnerships.
- Lead DSDIP's capability to deliver consistently high-quality Business Applications, including developing and implementing standards, policies, guidelines and procedures for development of new solutions.
- Contract and vendor management.
- Effective planning and management of project work-packages and coordination of resources (i.e. internal and vendor) to ensure stakeholder expectations and timeframes are met.
- Provide technical knowledge and guidance on current and emerging business application and digital product technologies as well as solution implementation, risks and operational challenges.
- Foster a work environment and team/s that values performance, improvement, innovation and outcomes.
- Bring a broad understanding of trending government and industry practices and development standards with regard to Business Applications.
