Maxi Taxi Drivers Wanted — Port Macquarie Taxis
Port Macquarie Taxis is looking for reliable, customer-focused drivers to join our Maxi Taxi fleet. Maxi Taxis are our larger, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, carrying up to 11 passengers and providing an essential service to the Port Macquarie community — including school runs, group bookings, airport transfers and accessible transport for passengers with mobility needs.

What we're looking for
- A current, unrestricted NSW Driver Licence
- At least 12 months of Australian safe driving history within the past four years
- A minimum age of 20 years
- A current NSW Taxi Authority and Passenger Transport Code (T condition) — or the willingness to obtain one (we can guide you through the process)
- A current ABN, registered for GST
- A right to work in Australia
- A patient, professional manner and a genuine commitment to safe, courteous service
- A willingness to assist passengers with mobility aids and to complete any required wheelchair-securement and disability-awareness training
The role
As a Maxi Taxi driver you'll safely transport passengers across the Port Macquarie region, assist passengers boarding and alighting (including those using wheelchairs and mobility aids), secure wheelchairs and equipment correctly, and represent Port Macquarie Taxis with professionalism at all times.
Pay: Experienced Drivers can earn between $40-$50/hr on a full shift
Hours: full-time, part-time, and casual shifts available
