Wireless deployment program Network Integration Centre (NIC)
A NIC Operator provides remote network integration and commissioning support for mobile network build, upgrade, change and restoration activities. The role coordinates with Field Technicians, schedulers, designers and transmission teams to safely progress work.
Capabilities and competencies required:
- Working knowledge of mobile network concepts.
- Ability to follow detailed MOPs precisely, recognise when prerequisites are not met, and stop/escalate appropriately.
- Strong troubleshooting skills also good record keeping (clear updates, issue descriptions, timestamps, and handover notes).
- Ability to prioritise and manage concurrent work within shift time constraints.
