Job purpose:
The Senior Architect – AI & Automation is a client-facing role responsible for shaping, designing, and delivering AI and automation solutions that drive measurable business outcomes for clients. This role partners closely with clients to understand their strategic priorities, identify opportunities, and architect scalable, innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, insight, and competitive advantage.

Client Advisory & Strategy

Act as a trusted advisor to clients on Architecture, AI and automation strategy, use cases, and roadmap development.

Engage with senior client stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into technology-enabled solutions.

Identify and shape opportunities to embed AI and automation into client operating models.

Provide thought leadership on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Advisory, Solution Architecture, Consulting Delivery and/or Program and Project Management across key Programs and Projects. (85% Utilisation)
Solution Architecture & Design

Understand Avec Engagement module, methodologies and Delivery enablers.

Lead the design of end-to-end AI and automation solutions in conjunction with practice leaders, tailored to client needs.

Develop scalable, secure, and commercially viable architectures across AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation.

Ensure alignment with client enterprise architecture, data environments, and technology ecosystems.

Define reusable patterns, frameworks, and accelerators to support consistent delivery.
Delivery & Implementation Oversight

Provide architectural leadership across the full lifecycle of client engagements—from discovery through to deployment.

Partner with delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented in line with design, quality, and client expectations.

Support estimation, planning, and solution scoping during pre-sales and delivery phases.

Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and guide teams to resolution.
Commercial & Pre-Sales Contribution

Support business development activities, including proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.

Shape solution narratives that clearly articulate business value, ROI, and outcomes.

Contribute to building a strong pipeline of AI and automation opportunities.

Partner with sales and account teams to position differentiated offerings.
Data, AI & Automation Enablement

Ensure robust data strategies underpin all AI solutions, including data quality, governance, and integration.

Guide the development and deployment of machine learning models and automation workflows.

Promote responsible, ethical, and compliant use of AI technologies across client solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement

Build strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders at all levels.
