Barista – Fast-Paced Café
We are looking for a confident, experienced and energetic Barista to join our fast-paced café team.
This role is suited to someone who thrives during busy service, takes pride in consistently producing excellent coffee, and works efficiently as part of a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare consistently high-quality espresso coffee throughout busy service periods
- Maintain speed, accuracy and attention to detail during peak periods
- Set up and dial in the coffee machine and grinder each day
- Maintain excellent milk texturing and latte art standards
- Manage high-volume coffee orders while maintaining quality and consistency
- Keep the coffee station clean, organised and fully stocked
- Communicate effectively with the front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
- Assist with general café duties when required
About You
- Previous barista experience in a busy café environment
- Strong knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee extraction
- Able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
- Consistent and quality-focused
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
- Passionate about great coffee and customer service
