Rich River Golf Club is one of Australia's premier golf and hospitality destinations, offering 2 championship golf courses, accommodation, dining, gaming, entertainment and member services in the beautiful Murray River region.
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Information Technology Manager to lead our technology operations and play a key role in supporting the Club's ongoing growth and digital transformation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technology leader who can combine strategic thinking with operational excellence to ensure our systems, infrastructure and cyber security capabilities continue to support a first-class experience for members, guests and employees.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Information Technology Manager will be responsible for the planning, management, security and continuous improvement of the Club's technology environment.
Working closely with the Finance Manager and Executive Team, you will oversee all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, cyber security, business systems, vendor management, technology projects and user support across a diverse and dynamic business.
The role will be instrumental in ensuring technology supports the Club's commercial objectives, operational efficiency, compliance obligations and member experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing the Club's technology strategy.
Managing IT infrastructure, networks, servers and cloud-based systems.
Leading cyber security initiatives and risk management programs.
Supporting key business systems including membership, hospitality, accommodation, gaming, finance and golf operations.
Managing technology projects and system upgrades.
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Delivering responsive and customer-focused IT support services.
Managing technology budgets and ensuring value from IT investments.
Supporting business continuity, disaster recovery and data governance initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience in a senior IT management or leadership position.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies and cyber security.
Experience managing business-critical systems and technology vendors.
Demonstrated ability to align technology solutions with business and financial objectives.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive, hands-on approach and commitment to service excellence.
Experience within hospitality, clubs, tourism, accommodation, gaming or other customer-focused industries will be highly regarded.
