To Be Frank Bakery Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Senior Baker to join its team.
We are an artisan bakery located in Collingwood, VIC, and looking for a talented baker to prepare and bake a variety of bread products in-house made fresh everyday.
You will be responsible for:
- Undertaking daily baking duties including but not limited to; preparing raw ingredients, weighing, mixing, dividing, shaping and baking.
- Assist the Head Baker in the training, development and scheduling of the bakery staff;
- Effectively communicating with your team to ensure that production is efficient and quality standards are met;
- Ensure the bakery is of the highest quality standard of cleanliness at all times;
- Effective stock management of ingredients to ensure minimum wastage;
- Monitor sales to determine quantities of products to be baked;
- Assist the Head Baker in updating the menu for bread offerings when required,
- Adhering to food safety and occupational health regulations;
- Monitoring equipment and ensuring all specialised baking tools are in working order;
- Maintaining the good running order of specialised baking equipment;
Requirement:
- a Certificate III or Certificate IV in a relevant field, plus 2 years of full-time post qualification experience; and
- at least three years of experience as a senior baker.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $78,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
