The Senior Communications Manager will be a valued member of the Communications Department, leading high-level strategic communications across media and public relations, executive and stakeholder communications, crisis and issues management, reputation management and major organisational campaigns. As the second-in-command to the Director of Communications, the role also provides day-to-day leadership across the team, helps coordinate workflow and quality assurance, and acts with sound judgment in a fast-paced, high profile environment.
We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
- A tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, media or a related discipline, or substantial equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated senior-level experience in strategic communications, media, public affairs or corporate communications within a complex organisation.
- Proven experience leading high-risk, high-profile or sensitive communications matters, including issues management, crisis communications and reputation management.
