We currently have opportunities within our Cyber Security function and we’re inviting cyber security professionals with diverse backgrounds and levels of expertise to apply. We'll assess candidates based on their skills, experience and leadership capability and match successful applicants to the most suitable opportunity within the team. These opportunities span cyber security governance, risk, compliance, assurance and security leadership functions.
Successful candidates will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to identify and manage cyber security risks, improve security controls, support regulatory compliance and influence a culture of security accountability.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and contribute to cyber security governance, risk and compliance activities.
- Provide strategic advice to technology and business leaders on cyber security and operational risk
- Support security assurance, audit, remediation and control effectiveness programs
- Develop, review and maintain cyber security policies, standards and frameworks
- Identify, assess and manage emerging cyber, technology and AI-related risks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across cyber security and operational risk functions
- Build trusted stakeholder relationships and influence security outcomes across the organisation
- Lead teams, projects or cross-functional initiatives where appropriate
What we’re looking for
- Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Risk Management or a related discipline
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT or similar will be highly regarded.
- Experience working within cyber security, technology risk, audit, compliance or related disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, standards and regulatory requirements, such as NIST CSF, APRA CPS 234 and the Essential Eight
- The ability to translate technical concepts into practical business outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills
- Experience building strong relationships across business and technology teams
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and risk-informed decision making
