About Sunrise Therapy
Sunrise Therapy is a small, values‑driven occupational therapy practice supporting adults and young adults across the Northern Beaches and North Shore regions. We currently support a varied adult caseload, including neurodivergence, intellectual disability, cognitive impairment and co‑occurring mental health, with flexibility to incorporate clinician interests and explore new areas of need. Our approach is functional, person‑centred and grounded in meaningful occupational performance.
About the Role
This flexible contractor role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, meaningful client relationships, and a calm working environment without KPIs or productivity pressure.
You’ll work from home for reports, telehealth and meetings, with community visits across the Northern Beaches and North Shore. You may choose clients that align with your strengths, or take on all or part of an established part‑time (up to 3 days) therapy caseload with supported transition. Early‑career and experienced OTs are welcome — supervision and support are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional, person‑centred occupational therapy to adults and young adults
- Complete functional capacity assessments, progress reports and clinical documentation
- Deliver telehealth sessions, home visits and community‑based interventions
- Maintain clear, timely notes and billing (admin team + CRM support provided)
- Collaborate with clients, families, support coordinators and multidisciplinary teams
- Shape your caseload based on your interests and strengths

Must‑Haves
- AHPRA‑registered Occupational Therapist
- Comfortable with adult NDIS work and FCAs, or willing to learn with support
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Values autonomy, flexibility and meaningful client relationships
