Details: Lyons Early Childhood School is seeking a Business Manager to join our school community. This key role supports the Principal and School Leadership Team in the strategic and operational management of the school, ensuring effective business practices that contribute to a positive learning environment and improved outcomes for students. Working closely with staff, families and key stakeholders, the Business Manager will foster a collaborative and inclusive approach to supporting the school's priorities and ongoing success.
The successful applicant will provide advice and support across a broad range of business functions, including strategic planning, financial and facilities management, human resources, communications and stakeholder engagement, procurement and contract administration, and compliance, risk management and governance.
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative professional with strong organisational, communication and leadership skills, who can effectively manage priorities in a dynamic school environment. Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Asbestos Awareness Training is a mandatory requirement of this role and must be completed prior to or on commencement of this role.
Highly Desirable:

Qualification or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance or

Experience in a business-related role and financial qualifications and/or relevant experience.

Knowledge of office practices and procedures.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

Knowledge of Xero and Sentral packages.

First Aid qualification. A First Aid Certificate or a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
