Shape Young Voices: Lead Speech Pathologist
Lead and inspire a dedicated team of Speech Pathologists while shaping the future of early childhood communication services across SALHN’s Southern Early Childhood and Families Service. In this senior role, you will provide professional leadership, supervision, and strategic direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based Speech Pathology services. Working within an inter and transdisciplinary environment, you will deliver specialist assessment and therapeutic interventions while driving service development, innovation, and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to influence service design, uphold professional standards, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families across the community.
About you:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Speech Pathology
Experience working with the application of attachment theory to therapeutic individual and group programs
Demonstrated ability to relate well to, work with and support children 6 weeks to school age and their families from various cultures and backgrounds, often in complex vulnerable families
Ability to work collaboratively in an inter/trans-disciplinary team and contribute to management of any conflict
Experience in preparing and presenting professional papers and workshops
