Apply advanced analytics, predictive modelling and data storytelling to inform decisions that support security, crisis and emergency management outcomes across Transport for NSW.
You're all about the detail and this role will allow you to drive evidence-based decision making to optimise systems and efficiency, not just for the business but for our customers too. It's data and research with impact you can see.
In this role, you'll:
- Build advanced Tableau dashboards, create insight packs for stakeholders, present findings, and work with the business to improve key performance metrics.
- Work with Azure-based data platforms and with the flexibility to apply the most effective tools, techniques and analytical methods to the problems, to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

About you
- Data Analyst with strong analytical thinking and the ability to work beyond reporting into predictive and advanced analytics.
- Confident using statistics, predictive modelling, Python, SQL, and Tableau to find patterns, test assumptions, and turn data into clear business insights.
- Ability to mobilise to respond to and support security, crisis and emergency incidents, including on‑call availability outside normal working hours, in a 24/7 operating environment.
