Gradi Fine Foods is looking for experienced Part-time Food Production Operators to join our production team in Coburg North.
This is a hands-on food manufacturing and production-line position, working with commercial-scale machinery and equipment to manufacture products including pizza bases, dough, breads, pasta, sauces and other wholesale food products.
We are specifically looking for candidates with genuine experience working in a food production or food manufacturing facility.
Required
- Minimum 2 years' experience in food manufacturing or food production
- Experience working on a food production line
- Experience operating or working alongside commercial food production machinery and equipment
- Experience manufacturing, processing, cooking or baking food at scale
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements
- Ability to follow production specifications, recipes, batch requirements and quality standards
- Comfortable performing repetitive and physically active production work
- Strong attention to quality, consistency and workplace safety
- Reliable availability and ability to work effectively within a production team
- Valid Australian working rights
Please note: Applicants whose experience is primarily restaurant cookery, chef work or warehouse picking and packing without direct food manufacturing experience may not meet the requirements of this position.
Salary: $26.44 per hour + superannuation + applicable Penalties - Part-Time Employment
Approximately 8–35 hours per week, depending on availability and operational requirements.
Pay rate aligned with Manufacturing Award – Level 2.

What you'll do:
As a Food Production Operator, you will work across different stages of our manufacturing process and production lines.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Operating and assisting with commercial food manufacturing machinery
- Mixing, preparing and processing ingredients
- Cooking and baking products using large-scale production equipment
- Producing pasta, pizza products, dough, breads, sauces and other food products
- Setting up and working across production lines
- Following recipes, batch sheets and production specifications
- Monitoring products throughout the manufacturing process
- Completing quality and consistency checks
- Portioning, packing and labelling finished products where required
- Cleaning and sanitising production machinery, equipment and work areas
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Working with the wider production team to achieve daily production requirements
What you'll bring:
You will ideally come from a food manufacturing, industrial bakery, pasta or dough production, ready-meal manufacturing, food processing or similar high-volume production environment.
You are comfortable working with machinery, following repeatable production processes, maintaining quality standards and working as part of a fast-moving production line.
