We are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that combines bookkeeping, administration and operational support. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the office, finance and manufacturing administration functions run smoothly.
Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Accounts
- Manage the company’s bookkeeping using Xero.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices.
- Process payroll and maintain payroll records.
- Manage superannuation payments and reporting.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end administration.
Administration
- General data entry and record keeping.
- Enter and maintain customer orders.
- Manage promotional and customer pricing data.
- Create and maintain customer spreadsheets and databases.
- Answer and direct customer enquiries.
- Assist with employee onboarding and administration.
- General filing and document management.
Manufacturing & Operations Support
- Maintain and file Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
- Verify production paperwork and ensure documentation is complete.
- Coordinate the dispatch of product samples for laboratory testing.
- Order office and production consumables.
- Assist production and administration teams with documentation and compliance requirements.
- Research suppliers and business opportunities as required.
General Office Duties
- Help maintain an organised, professional office environment.
- Assist with general office administration.
- Support multiple departments with administrative tasks as business priorities change.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous bookkeeping experience.
- Experience using Xero.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever required.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
- Payroll processing.
- Experience working in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals or food production.
- Experience maintaining compliance documentation.
- Inventory or production administration experience.
