We are currently looking for an experienced and physically fit Warehouse Storeperson to join our Rydalmere branch, reporting directly to the National Warehouse Manager. This is a hands-on role suited to a seasoned warehouse worker who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, reliability and customer service.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Assisting walk-in trade customers at the counter
- Loading customer vehicles and assisting with collections
- Organising freight and deliveries for the following day
- Receiving incoming stock and dispatching outgoing goods
- Assisting with stock organisation and general warehouse duties
- Using computers and warehouse systems for stock and freight processing
From time to time, you may also be required to cover our delivery driver during periods of leave by driving our automatic Renault Master van on scheduled delivery runs.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, reliable, physically fit and willing to jump in wherever needed.
What We’re Looking For
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous warehouse and pick packing experience
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift up to 15kg regularly
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A neat and professional presentation
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- A current Australian driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Forklift experience with current licence licence
- Mechanical aptitude or hands-on practical skills highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
