Join DPV Health as a Disability Support Worker (Disability Instructor) and play a vital role in supporting people with disability to live meaningful, independent, and connected lives. In this position, you will provide person-centred support to clients across community and program settings, helping them build life skills, participate in social and recreational activities (including sports such as swimming), and achieve their individual goals. You will work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care that promotes dignity, inclusion, and wellbeing, while contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment aligned with DPV Health values.
This role requires a compassionate and reliable professional who can deliver hands-on support, including personal care, community access, and safe transport using company vehicles. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation such as progress notes and incident reports, ensuring all practices meet NDIS standards, organisational policies, and quality requirements. We are seeking candidates with relevant qualifications and/or experience in disability support, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others. Flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach to health, safety, and continuous improvement are essential to succeed in this rewarding role.
