Looking for a dog groomer and a new grooming assistant with good time management and gentle approach to grooming for a small boutique salon in Bald Hills.
About us:
Currently the salon is open tues-sat but looking to expand our opening hours with more staff. We focus on keeping numbers small, so the environment is more manageable for anxious dogs and to reduce burnout for staff.
Senior Dog Groomer
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of breed styles, ability to manage anxious dogs and a firm but gentle touch.
- At least 2 yrs experience as a dog groomer, ability to finish grooms independently
- Gentle grooming approach
- Weekend work available but not required
- Detail-oriented, meticulous, and has good communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Able to work 18-24hrs per week
