La Belle Miette is looking for a reliable, efficient and trustworthy person to fulfill a dishwasher/ driver – ideally to cover between 15-25 hours per week. Shifts include daytime and morning shifts. The role may suit a student or Working Holiday Visa holder. Candidates possessing valid driver license preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
- Dishwashing
- Kitchen assisting and cleaning
- Stock counting
- General maintenance tasks
- Delivery of stock from Richmond to Chadstone and CBD (van is automatic)
- Ad hoc deliveries and collections
- Stock preparation for delivery
The ideal candidate should
- Be reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and punctual
- Have good time management skills
- Be physically fit: you should be comfortable lifting large heavy (15kg +) objects above shoulder height in a safe manner
- Understanding of safe hygiene practice with regards to food handling and working in a food production environment
- Have good communication skills
- Good numeracy (for stock counting)
- Possess full or partial working rights
Qualities that are not absolutely necessary but will be highly valued:
- Live in or near Richmond area or have own means of transport
- A practical or technical trade
- Have prior experience working as a kitchen hand or in a stock/dispatch role
- Driver's licence (and be able to drive an automatic van within metro Melbourne)
Salary terms and conditions in accordance with the National Employment Standards and the applicable award. The rate indicated below is the casual rate for ordinary hours for Level 1 Adults (21 years and above).
