Position Overview
The Floor Waiter/Waitress plays a key role in delivering CU29’s high standard of table service, ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless, professional, and memorable dining experience. This role requires excellent product knowledge, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality in a premium setting.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
Greet guests warmly and present menus with confidence and professionalism.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring any dietary needs or preferences are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
Serve meals and beverages promptly, with attention to presentation and service etiquette.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit and respond to requests promptly.
Guest Experience
Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive, attentive service.
Offer menu recommendations, including food and wine pairings, when appropriate.
Handle guest enquiries and concerns with professionalism, escalating issues to the Duty Manager if required.
Operational Support
Set and clear tables efficiently, ensuring all service areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Assist with the preparation and reset of the dining area before, during, and after service.
Support team members during peak service periods to ensure smooth operations.
Compliance & Safety
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards.
Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) regulations.
Report any hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues to management promptly.

Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of 2 years experience in table service within a restaurant, café, or bar, preferably in a premium or fine dining environment and in a high volume/marked–up venue.
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (required).
Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including wine service (advantageous).
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
