The specialist will provide expert medical assessment and management of patients within the Medical Imaging department.
The successful applicant will have extensive experience in Body Imaging, including abdominal, pelvic, and chest CT and MRI (with vascular imaging), body ultrasound, and plain radiography and fluoroscopic procedures. They will be expected to contribute across a broad clinical spectrum, including active participation in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings covering Upper and Lower Gastrointestinal Radiology, Uro radiology, Hepatobiliary Radiology, and Gynae-oncology. The role also involves providing support in general diagnostic radiology—including neuro, body, and musculoskeletal cases—as part of the on-call roster. Competence or a strong interest in additional subspecialties such as Chest, Paediatric Body, or Cardiac Radiology is highly desirable.

The primary location of this position may be varied as agreed with the Director of Medical Services and as approved by MDAAC to other facilities in SESLHD.
