Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team on a part-time basis. The successful applicant will provide assessment, intervention, and capacity-building supports to NDIS participants and private clients with a range of developmental, neurological, psychosocial, and physical support needs.
This role offers flexibility, clinical autonomy, and the opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to support participants in achieving their goals across daily living, emotional regulation, sensory processing, social participation, and community engagement.
- Complete clinical documentation, progress notes, NDIS reports, functional assessments, recommendations, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with participants, families, carers, schools, health professionals, and other stakeholders to provide person-centred supports and positive outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teamwork, case consultations, professional development, and service planning activities.
- Provide recommendations regarding assistive technology, environmental modifications, and capacity-building supports where appropriate.
- Deliver services across clinic, home, school, and community settings as required.
- Maintain compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, AHPRA requirements, organisational policies, and ethical and professional standards of practice.
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and person-centred practice.

Hours
Part-time hours are negotiable and may increase based on participant demand and clinician preference.
