Lead meaningful change where it matters most
As the Clinical Lead - Mental Health, you will play a critical leadership role supporting vulnerable families where parental mental health and/or substance use places children at risk of significant harm. Working alongside Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), your leadership will directly contribute to keeping children safe and families together.

- Lead the delivery of evidence-based, trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
- Maintain a specialist caseload, providing advanced mental health assessment, formulation, and intervention.
- Strengthen collaboration with DCJ and key partners across health, community, and government sectors.
- Drive quality improvement, service development, and clinical research activities.
- Shape practice in line with the NSW Health PARVAN Framework and best practice standards.
About You
We welcome applications from experienced clinicians who bring both advanced clinical expertise and leadership capability, including:
- Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2

- A passion for trauma-informed practice and family-focused care.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and reflective practice.
Applicants must have current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.
Why join us?
- Lead a high-impact, purpose-driven service supporting some of the community’s most vulnerable families.
