About the Role
As Room Leader, you'll take the reins in delivering exceptional education and care while leading and inspiring a team of dedicated educators. You'll bring learning experiences to life in line with the EYLF, support children through key developmental milestones, and build genuine, lasting relationships with families who trust you with what matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire educators within your room
- Design and deliver engaging, high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive space where every child can thrive
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and your wider team
- Champion children's emotional, social, and developmental growth
- Uphold the highest standards of compliance with the NQF and centre policies
- Help shape and strengthen the service's warm, positive culture
About You
You're an experienced Room Leader with:
- Proven leadership experience within an early childhood setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
- A genuine, unmistakable passion for early childhood education
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
- Solid understanding of child protection practices and mandatory reporting obligations
- Completed child protection training
