We’re looking for an experienced Café Cook to join our team at Cove by Tay & Tay in Cronulla.
We’re a busy beachside café serving all-day breakfast, jaffles, burgers, sweet treats and more. We’re looking for someone confident in a fast-paced kitchen who can work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of food quality and presentation.
About the role:
- Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch menu items
- Managing multiple orders during busy service periods
- Food preparation and maintaining kitchen organisation
- Ensuring meals are consistent, well presented and prepared to a high standard
- Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
- Working closely with the front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly
What we’re looking for:
- Previous café or commercial kitchen experience is essential
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Available on weekends
- Early morning availability
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
We can offer 20+ hours per week for the right person, with the opportunity for additional hours.
