The administration team provides high quality administrative support to the Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Services (NMWS) and the Nursing Clinical Support Services Unit (NCSU), ensuring performance objectives are met in delivering workforce and staffing support to Townsville Hospital and Health Service. This role works within a collaborative team environment that provides quality recruitment services, timely and accurate communication to all stakeholders, and ongoing support to nursing staff. This position will support the recruitment of Nurses and Midwives and will also be required to cover emergent leave within Staffing Support to facilitate the booking of clinical staff to meet emergent daily leave requirement.

This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.

The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
Advanced computer skills in word processing, data management and use and or knowledge of information systems. As well as the ability to analyse and interpret data from a variety of information technology software systems
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse team and with a high level of autonomy to effectively prioritise, organise and set realistic timeframes to achieve desired outcomes. To support team members to achieve goals and performance of tasks effectively.
High-level ability to identify and resolve issues and to identify opportunities for quality improvement.
Proven high level communication and interpersonal skills and ability to consult with clients and staff at all levels of the organisation.
Attention to detail. Ability to accurately review documents, pamphlets, posters etc, identify formatting and design inconsistencies and action any issues.
Highly organised, with the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability in meeting management including minutes, agendas, and monitoring of actions from meetings.

Salary range: $3038.50 - $3379.10 p.f. (AO3)
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
