Do you feel like your experience and ideas aren’t being used to their full potential?
Are you looking for a clinic where you can genuinely shape the service you’re building?
If so, you might be exactly who we’re looking for. At Playful Paediatrics, experienced clinicians don’t just fill a role - they help lead, shape, and grow it.
✨ Who You Are ✨
✓ A qualified and AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with 4+ years of experience
✓ Passionate about family-centred, holistic, collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming, and strengths-based practice
✓ A warm communicator who values teamwork, connection, and real relationships
✓ Excited by the opportunity to contribute your expertise to a growing, purpose-driven service
✓ Energised by creativity, flexibility, and the chance to keep growing
✨ Who We Are ✨
At Playful Paediatrics, we specialise in supporting children and their families to thrive - not just in therapy sessions, but in everyday life. We believe in the power of collaboration, connection, and creativity. Our multidisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, OTs, and Psychologists work together to provide playful, engaging, and evidence-informed supports for children aged 0–18.
We’re passionate about helping each child feel seen, understood, and empowered in their world. We take a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach - and we genuinely care about the families and clinicians in our community.
(Also … have you seen our backyard? It’s a therapist’s dream - herb garden, swings, art space, sandpit, and plenty of room to play and learn!)
✨ What Makes Us Different ✨
- We’re not a high-volume, high-pressure clinic. We prioritise quality, connection, and clinical integrity above all else.
- Experienced clinicians are actively involved in shaping our OT service - your expertise and passions genuinely matter here.
- We believe therapy works best when the whole family feels supported, so we build real relationships with the families we work with.
- Our team genuinely enjoys being together - we celebrate wins, support each other through challenges, and have a lot of fun along the way.
✨ What We Offer ✨
- Remuneration: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, discussed openly at interview. We believe in paying people fairly for their expertise.
- Professional Development: A generous PD budget and dedicated PD leave. This isn’t just a line in a contract - we actively support you to attend conferences, complete training, and grow in the areas that excite you. We also host regular in-house training and peer learning sessions as a team.
- Work–Life Balance: We offer flexible days and hours designed around your life. We know clinicians do their best work when they’re not burned out - so we actively protect your capacity.
- Supervision & Mentoring: Regular individual supervision with an experienced clinician, plus peer supervision and collaborative case discussions.
- Supportive Team: A close-knit, collaborative team who genuinely care about one another. We check in on each other as humans, not just as colleagues.
- Administrative Support: Our friendly admin team handles scheduling, billing, and client coordination so you can focus on the work you love.
- Tools & Resources: Laptop, assessment tools, relevant subscriptions, car allowance, and access to beautiful, well-resourced clinic spaces.
- Team Connection: Regular team catch-ups, lunches, celebrations, and plenty of laughs.
- Beautiful Clinic: A warm, home-like environment that’s creative, calm, and full of play opportunities - and yes, that outdoor space really is as good as it sounds.
