With a strong local following and year-round tourist trade, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to take ownership of a busy and established kitchen.
We are searching for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, can inspire and develop a large kitchen team, and is passionate about delivering consistent, high-quality food while driving strong commercial results.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading all kitchen operations across a high-volume service environment
Managing, mentoring and developing a large brigade of chefs and kitchen staff
Driving food quality, consistency and presentation standards
Managing rostering, labour costs, food costs and kitchen budgets
Maintaining strong food safety, compliance and operational standards
Working closely with venue leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, efficiencies and team performance
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume venue
Proven ability to lead, train and motivate large kitchen teams
Strong understanding of food costing, labour management and kitchen KPIs
Experience managing stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A calm and professional approach under pressure
Passion for creating a positive kitchen culture and developing talent
