The Role
SRG Global are seeking qualified and experienced Refractory Carpenters specifically with Refractory experience in Alumina, processing facilities for South 32, in the Southwest region in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the safe and efficient execution of carpentry works during maintenance, project and shutdown activities at South32 Worsley Alumina.
Supporting shutdown and project delivery through the construction, maintenance, modification and repair of temporary and permanent structures, formwork, access systems, hoardings, flooring, cladding, insulation support systems and other carpentry-related works.
Execute carpentry works as directed by supervisors and client representatives.
Install, modify and remove temporary works, access structures and timber systems.
Perform maintenance and repair activities on existing infrastructure.
Read and interpret drawings, sketches and work scopes.
Complete shutdown works within scheduled timeframes.
The successful applicant will ideally have
Trade qualified Carpenter.
Experience working in mining, industrial, refinery or heavy industry environments.
Experience working during shutdowns and maintenance campaigns.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must be able to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
