Automotion Plus is a leading Australian wholesaler and retailer of gate automation products, supplying trade and retail customers nationwide with trusted brands including CAIS, Motorline, Roger Technology, APC Automation Systems and Eyevision. With over 20 years in the industry and warehouses across Victoria, Western Australia, and Queensland, we're growing — and looking for a reliable, hands-on Storeperson to join our Moorabbin warehouse team.
About the role:
We're after someone who takes pride in accuracy and pace — picking and packing orders for trade customers, retail customers and installers who rely on us to get their gate automation parts right and out the door on time. You'll be part of a small, close-knit warehouse team, working across receiving, stock put-away, order picking/packing, and dispatch.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders from stock (motors, boards, remotes, sensors, and related gate automation components)
- Receive and check incoming stock against purchase orders/delivery dockets
- Put away stock in correct warehouse locations and maintain accurate bin locations
- Prepare orders for courier/freight dispatch, including basic packaging and labelling
- Perform regular stocktakes and help identify discrepancies
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking/packing, or logistics role
- Good attention to detail — getting the right part to the right customer matters in our industry
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling (lifting, standing, repetitive tasks)
- Reliable, punctual, and a genuine team player
- Basic computer skills for scanning/order systems (full training provided)
- Prior experience in electrical, hardware, or trade-supply warehousing is a plus, but not required
