Solid Plasterer
(Full-time)
We are seeking an experienced Solid Plasterer to join our project delivery team on various projects. This is a full-time ongoing position, offering 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday) in Sydney, NSW.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
· Prepare and clean surfaces prior to rendering, including the removal of loose materials and ensuring proper adhesion.
· Mixing and applying different materials such as cement, acrylic, and textured finishes to exterior and interior walls.
· Smoothing, texturing, and polishing rendered surfaces to meet project specifications and client expectations.
· Collaborating with construction teams and site supervisors to ensure rendering tasks align with overall project timelines.
· Operating and maintaining rendering tools, such as trowels, floats, and spray machines, and ensuring correct material proportions for application.
· Applying reinforcing mesh, beading, and other structural elements to prevent cracking and enhance the longevity of rendered surfaces.
· Adhere to all health and safety guidelines on the job site
Skills & Experience – What We’re Looking For:
· Minimum Cert III or IV in relevant field OR at least 3 years of experience in lieu of qualifications
· Previous experience as a Solid Plasterer, ideally 2+ years
· Proficiency in applying different rendering techniques and materials
· Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve a high-quality finish
· Physical fitness to perform the duties of the role
· Commitment to workplace health and safety
· Positive attitude towards safety and working in a team.
· Hold a White Card.
· Hold a Drivers License & maintained vehicle to drive to sites.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
