You’re open to a change of direction and a new challenge.
This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.
In this role, you'll:
Support the effective management and delivery of the Finance, Technology and Commercial (FTC) division’s project pipeline by providing high‑quality analysis, reporting and coordination that enable evidence‑based prioritisation and sequencing of initiatives.
You will collect, validate and consolidate pipeline data, preparing clear reports, dashboards and insights that inform project readiness assessments and divisional decision‑making. Working within established portfolio management frameworks, you will support assurance and quality reviews to ensure initiatives meet readiness standards before entering the delivery pipeline.
You will analyse trends, risks, dependencies and capacity considerations across the pipeline, translating findings into practical insights that improve planning, prioritisation and alignment to strategic objectives. Through close collaboration with stakeholders across the division, you will contribute to continuous improvement in data quality, reporting tools and portfolio management processes.

About you
You are an experienced portfolio, pipeline or project support professional with a strong analytical mindset and experience working within complex organisational environments. You bring the ability to interpret and validate data, apply governance and prioritisation frameworks, and translate information into clear, defensible insights that support sound decision‑making.
You are highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to ensure information is accurate, timely and aligned with divisional processes. You understand project lifecycle stages, dependencies and resourcing considerations, and apply this knowledge in a practical way to support pipeline planning and readiness.
To be successful in this role, you will hold appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrate equivalent relevant professional experience, and be motivated to contribute to transparent, high‑quality portfolio outcomes for Transport for NSW.
Note: This position has two (2) vacancies — one permanent and one fixed‑term full‑time role until 31 March 2028.
