About the Role This is a fixed term (6 months) position at 30.4 hours per fortnight within the RCH Mental Health Service. It is an exciting opportunity to join a team of multi-disciplinary clinicians within the RCH Mental Health Service, working within new Child Health and Wellbeing Local in Brimbank Melton.
You will be responsible for:-
Engaging children and their families in recovery-focused clinical care

Providing evidence-based interventions
-
Working collaboratively with colleagues and agency partners to provide high quality inter-disciplinary care.

Offering excellent secondary consultation to other health, education, and community services/providers to enhance coordinated care and build mental health capacity.
Your skills and experience-
Approved tertiary qualifications and eligibility for the relevant professional registering body (Nurses & Midwifery Board/Occupational Therapy Board/Psychology Board via AHPRA, or Speech Pathology Australia, or AASW)

Experience in and knowledge of the identification, assessment and treatment of children and their families

Demonstrated commitment to the care of children and their families in the least restrictive and intrusive manner

Respecting rights, privacy and dignity and demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively with consumers and carers to promote self-determination and progress toward recovery goals.
