· Plan and implement an age-appropriate school readiness and pre-school preparation program that suits the needs of individual children and groups.
· Ensure that each child is given individual attention ensuring their comfort and emotional needs are met at all times.
· Create exciting and inspiring opportunities, experiences and activities for children which will allow them to play and learn in a stimulating environment, master new skills and gain confidence
· Work collaboratively with other educators, staff, and families to optimise the value of the program.
· Communicate concerns and issues clearly, objectively and sensitively, always maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
· Identify and intervene with children with special or additional needs or challenging behaviours.
· Provide ongoing observation, planning and assessment of each child including provision of transition statements where applicable.
· Provide an environment with appropriate educational materials and experiences responsive to the individual students developmental and learning requirements and interests.
· Work with the educational leader to ensure all activities fit with the service’s philosophy and curriculum.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
