MTB Assistant Mechanic & Mechanics
As the Mountain Bike Department workshop mechanic assistant, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service by always greeting customers in a positive and friendly manner. The role includes the daily servicing & washing of the large rental fleet and servicing of customers bikes to a high standard in a timely and professional manner. You will be required to familiarise yourself with Thredbo’s wide variety of mountain biking & summer activities products so you can provide the customer with accurate recommendations.
Skills & Experience
- A Valid NSW WWCC
- Experience in bicycle maintenance & servicing
Lead Mechanic
As the MTB Lead Mechanic, you will be working with the MTB Head Mechanic to provide exceptional customer service to all guests and ensuring that the MTB Workshop is operating at optimal levels. The role includes the daily servicing of the large rental fleet and servicing of customers bikes to a high standard in a timely and professional manner. You will also be required to familiarise yourself with Thredbo’s wide variety of mountain biking & summer activities products so you can provide the customer with accurate recommendations.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ Years of Bicycle Mechanic experience building and servicing, within a professional retail environment
- Relative industry technical training cert. in the areas of modern suspension and braking systems
- SRAM University Courses
- Shimano T.E.C.
- Fox Technical Training – Basic Course
- Specialized University
- Proficient in the use of POS systems, inventory software, etc.
- Current NSW Working With Children’s Check
