Who we are: Cable Locates & Consulting is a trusted, well-established sub-surface locating company. A small team of experienced DBYD Certified locators, surveyor and vac operators, our core business activities include utility locating, non-destructive vacuum potholing and excavations, critical asset supervisions and concrete scanning, we offer an integrated range of services that cover all aspects of utility location. The head office in Port Kennedy, we support local councils, state government agencies as well as the Civil and Construction Industries, mobilising throughout Western Australia.

Training & development opportunities, with the aim to work toward achieving qualification as a Certified Location Technician.
Your role will be field-based and include training in all aspects of utility location activities, collecting and recording data.

What you offer:
White Card & Valid Australian Driver’s License (LR/MR/LE encouraged)
Willingness to understand the Australian Standard AS5488.1-2019 for Subsurface Utility information & DBYD Best Practice Guidelines
Willingness to work under Cable Locates Work Safe & Quality Management System
Willingness to actively learn operational skills, including Radio Detection & undertaking work practices such as manual handing, opening pits and vacuum unit operations.
