Vanity Vault Casual Retail Assistant – Pop-Up Shops
Current Location: Epping Plaza (with rotating pop-up locations across Melbourne)
Hourly Rate: $25 per hour (Weekdays)
Weekend Rates: $31.25 per hour (Saturdays) | $34.50 per hour (Sundays)
Commission: $20 per vanity desk sold
Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week

As we continue to grow, we’re bringing our sparkle to shopping centres across Melbourne through our pop-up stores – and we’re looking for vibrant Casual Retail Assistants to join us!
About the Role
We’re currently based at Epping Plaza, however our pop-up locations rotate across Melbourne including:
- Epping Plaza
- Doncaster Shoppingtown
- Highpoint Shopping Centre
- Watergardens
- Northland Shopping Centre
We’re also always trialling new locations, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, loves sales, and is confident both in-store and online.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with product advice and recommendations
- Earn $20 commission per vanity desk sold
- Process sales using our point-of-sale system
- Maintain a clean, stylish and inviting pop-up space
- Answer customer enquiries in-store, over the phone, and via social media
- Create and feature in social media content (Instagram & TikTok)
- Assist with posting, replying to messages, and engaging with customers online
- Help manage stock and general day-to-day tasks
Who We’re Looking For
- A bubbly, confident communicator who loves talking to people
- Sales-driven with strong customer service skills
- Confident on camera and comfortable creating TikToks and social media content
- Social media savvy and tech-friendly
- Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and manage a pop-up on your own
- Flexible with availability, including weekdays, weekends, and late nights
- Must have a driver’s licence and reliable car
- Willing and able to travel between different Melbourne pop-up locations
- Someone who enjoys being part of a warm, friendly team environment
