join our kitchen at Bang Bang St. Kilda.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a Full-Time position and, among others, as Head Chef, you will be in charge of:
- Menu planning design, costings, and stocktaking
- Menu preparation, ensuring that standard recipesare followed to ensure the
consistency of the menu
- Creation of weekly specials
- Cooking and presenting food
- Implementing multiple cooking procedures
- Monitoring food quality
- Management of cleanliness within the kitchen applying workplace safety and
hygiene procedures
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Relevant Diploma qualification plus at least 3 years’ work experience in the same
occupation or closely related
- Proven experience with menu development, costings and ordering
- Understanding of product, culinary techniques and kitchen equipment
- Contributing new ideas which may improve customer service or department
operations
- Excellent team player
- Strong communication and people managementskills, not to mention some grace
under pressure!
- Passionate about food and people, with a can do friendly attitude
