Overview
CDS is seeking an experienced Sales Hunter to drive new business growth across enterprise IT infrastructure and support services in Australia.
This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within enterprise accounts and partner ecosystems. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in enterprise technology sales, preferably within data center support services, third-party maintenance, or enterprise hardware/software environments.
This is a full-time position based in Melbourne, Victoria, with flexible/hybrid working arrangements available. Travel will be required throughout APAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business revenue and achieve agreed sales targets and performance objectives
- Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline through direct customer engagement and collaboration with partners and channel organizations
- Identify customer business needs and develop value-based solutions aligned to CDS offerings
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including qualification, forecasting, proposal development, negotiation, and closure
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within CRM systems
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with current customers, prospective clients, and strategic partners
- Prepare and manage sales forecasts and pipeline reporting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support solution design, pricing, and business case development
- Represent CDS professionally in customer meetings, presentations, and industry events
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
Required Experiences
- Demonstrated experience generating and closing new business opportunities in enterprise technology sales
- Experience selling IT infrastructure services, enterprise hardware/software solutions, or data center support services
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with channel partners, resellers, OEMs, MSPs, or distributors
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience working with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred Experiences
- Experience in Third-Party Maintenance (TPM) or Multi-Vendor Support (MVS) sales
- Experience selling storage, networking, compute, or data warehouse solutions
- Experience managing enterprise-level customer relationships
