Role
Kaplan International Pathways ANZ is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Admissions Officer to join our Admissions team in Adelaide, Melbourne or Perth.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering an exceptional admissions experience for prospective international students by assessing applications, processing offers and enrolments, providing expert advice to students and education agents, and ensuring compliance with Australian education regulations.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in international education who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about supporting students on their education journey.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and process international student applications, amendments and offers accurately within agreed service levels.
- Prepare Offer Letters, process Confirmations of Enrolment (CoEs) through PRISMS and maintain accurate student records within the student management system.
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from students, education agents and internal stakeholders via phone, email and other communication channels.
- Provide accurate advice regarding admission requirements, program information, policies and procedures.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Governance and Academic staff to ensure seamless admissions processes.
- Generate reports and maintain accurate admissions data to support operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ESOS legislation, National Code requirements, PRISMS and Kaplan policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace focused on continuous improvement, customer service excellence and student success.
Requirements:
- Experience processing international student applications within an education institution.
- Sound understanding of the Australian international education sector, admissions processes and relevant legislation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, agents and internal stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and experience using student management systems.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
- A proactive, adaptable approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding service.
